THE 4MULA – wrap up
Last weekend in Brooklyn the Low Brow Artique opened their show titled “The 4Mula”, a collection of art from the NYC members of the TD4 crew. The crew came together for this 7 man show to celebrate creation and rep the arts. Zeso, Bisco Smith, Zimad, Meres, Bishop203, Leias, and Just One were all in attendance. Bishop203, owner of Low Brow Artique / TD4 Member, and all around good fella hosted the show in his space, which if you’re in BK you should go check out. There are monthly gallery shows, fresh paint, and dope inspirations all around.
Mid week after a night of hanging art and catching up we got word a blizzard was coming. Damn.. who wants a blizzard when you have a show planned? Just like that Nemo hit NY early Friday and slowed the city down. There is something beautiful about the snow in NYC, but not when you’re trying to get the world out to a show. With the weather on storm the show went on and we had over 150 people in the house hanging out and beating the blizzard blues. A big thank you to everyone that wrapped up and made it out. The night was special in so many ways, we all really appreciated you coming through.
All in all the opening was a great success. Because of the blizzard, Low Brow Artique planned a snow date second round opening on February 15th. The attendance was doubled and the vibes were great. A lot of art was sold, a lot of inspiration was taken away, and I know from the TD4 side we are super excited to get busy on the next one. If you are interested in any of the work, the artist, location, or future shows feel free to hit us up!
Big shout to the whole TD4 crew, Low Brow Artique, M Events, and all the fresh New Yorkers who came through, showed support, purchased art, and made it all what it is!”
